Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Enrollment Checklist
Students may not self-enroll in Allied Health courses, as all requirements must first
be verified by HCC Regional Staff prior to enrollment. Once all required documentation
has been received and verified, HCC Regional Staff will enroll the student in the
appropriate course.
High school juniors and seniors are eligible for free tuition for Allied Health courses through the Excel in CTE program, beginning the summer after completion of their sophomore year.
Students must be 17 by the end of the EMT-B course to take the National Registry EMT (NREMT) exam.
Complete the HCC Allied Health Enrollment Request Form. If you have questions, please contact alliedhealth@highlandcc.edu. High school students need to be a junior or senior to take Allied Health courses.
If you are new to HCC or have not attended HCC in the last 12 months, please complete
the HCC Online Application Form. When selecting program, choose: Technical/Stand Alone
Par Prog/Nursing Aide
