Access Wi-Fi On-Campus

Students and community members on our campus may connect to our Wi-Fi. Find out what you need to know about connecting to our network and what you can and can't do while connected.

Student Network

What is my username?
Your username is your LastName.FirstName (For Example, Smith.John).

What is my password?
Your password was automatically emailed to your PERSONAL EMAIL ADDRESS (This is a non-highland email address) that you submitted with your Highland application.

If you are unable to find your password in your personal email account, use the “Forgot My Password” form to have an email containing your reset password sent to your personal email address. If you still need assistance, contact the IT Help Desk.

Our Highland Campus wireless is available throughout our campus buildings and dormitories. Highland students can connect to a secure network connect for improved performance.

Get Microsoft Office

As a HCC student, you can install Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus for FREE on your personal computers and mobile devices.

HCC provides Microsoft Office 365 to every staff, faculty, and student free of charge. This means the latest version of the full Office productivity suite, is available to download. As long as you’re with Highland Community College you’ll be able to use this software for free.

When using the Microsoft Online app, only Word, Excel, OneNote, and PowerPoint are available.

When you download and install the M365 Office Suite applications you will have access to the full Office suite:

Install on up to 5 compatible PCs and Macs, plus 5 tablets (including iPad!)
Use up to 5TB of storage in OneDrive for automatic device syncing
Gain valuable skills on the world’s most popular productivity software
Use the same programs as your professors to ensure full file fidelity

Office 365 Student Resources

To get your Office 365 download follow these simple steps:

For PC and Mac:
1. Visit login.microsoftonline.com
2. Log in with your MyHCC email address
3. On the HCC Office 365 Home page click Install Office in the upper-right-hand corner.
For iOS and Android:
1. Download from your app store
2. Go here for more info: https://products.office.com/en-us/mobile/office
3. Sign in with your school credentials for full editing capability
